Tuesday, June 7 - Bryce Canyon to Zion

Lazy Lazy day, don't have far to drive today, so taking advantage of a little leisurely morning.

Another 30 degrees plus day.  Every morning I wake up and peak out the window, and think it may be a cooler day, looks a little overcast, but nope, the sun just hasn't made it's way fully up yet, and another hot one again today.

Decided to go for one last drive to see the entire Bryce Canyon Corridor, grabbed a coffee, left our travelling buddy Gracie and the Trailer back at the campsite.  No tour busses or shuttles after Inspiration Point, so its a peaceful drive...

A friend once said, "You seen one rock you seen em' all....", not sure I agree.... Every corner reveals another amazing view, sometimes "sensory overload" at how beautiful it is out here, thankfully we have pictures so that we can capture all this, and look back and remember it all...at a later time, and hopefully we can remember the feelings we had when we saw all this amazingness....(not sure that's a word), but it should be....

Good Bye Bryce Canyon....

After Bryce we drove through miles and miles hills, miles of scrub....

and then, just out of nowhere....Zion begins to appear....

It's a pretty narrow road, when you go through the 2nd tunnel which is 1.1 miles long, they stop the traffic in the opposite lane so that the RV's can drive down the middle of the lane....yikes, little close for my comfort.!!! but George is as cool as a cucumber....

Gracie doesn't seem to have a care in the world, she's just happy to have not been left at home like Maggie was..

Descending the hill into Zion....I think I held my breath the entire way down, George....Cool as a Cucumber....

Okay, so made it down the insanely steep hill into Zion....and it's hot, freaking hot....so hot...

We need to cool off with a Cold One!! see ya tomorrow
