We are not used to seeing this, so it's a little traumatic, but we awoke to the pitter-patter of rain drops on the RV roof, no sunshine beaming into the RV windows either...boo hoo....They said it was going to happen, but I kinda try to be the "glass half-full" when I can...so we headed into town to check things out. Did I say I love the artwork around town, just another example of how cool it is here.
And when it's not nice enough to bike or kayak, the next best thing to do is...CABELLAS!!!! and stuffed animals!!!!
Next favourite thing to do is check out RV's.....this is our next dream RV, Arctic Fox 27-5L...we both agree it would look pretty nice behind George's truck....
So skies have cleared and off to hike Tubb's Hill with Gracie. Just another great thing about this place, an amazing hiking spot right downtown on the water....Duane Hagadone was instrumental in developing this area, without him, it would not be the same. Here's a write up about them. Duane and Lola citizens of the year
Can't argue she's a Beagle in there somewhere....nose the ground all the way!!!
Lake Coeur d'Alene....
OMG mom!!! look I found the water!!!Can I go in? hu? hu? Can I mom??? Dad?? Dad??? can I go in ? huh? She is water obsessed!!!
I'M IN...I'M IN!!!! LOOK AT ME!!!
Not sure if I am getting any better at taking a selfie, or we are just getting used to how crazy we look!!!
Anyways, more amazing stuff that Hagadone built...golf course with a floating greeen..
This is before poor Gracie scrambled across this crazy bridge!!!
This is the city park, down by the waterfront and also right downtown. It has basketball hoops, dog park, water-park, giant kids playground, walking/biking trails, Library, City Hall, tons of bathrooms and green space, so much green space...
This is one of our favourite houses on the water....And it's FOR SALE!!! Go Figure, little out of our price range...Couldn't actually get the whole place in on one shot, would have had to change the camera to Panoramic!!!
There are so many great little homes down here, we could live in almost any of them.
And a bunny wabbit....aaawwwww...Rascally Rabbit!!!
