We said goodbye to Brother Tom last night, he was on his way back to LA, with a stop in Lost Wages, I mean Las Vegas. Now it's back to the three of us.
This is Gracie, half hour before we are set to leave the campsite in Zion....she is not going to take any chances on being left behind....She's going to wait it out in 30 degree weather...
The road back out of Zion is just as amazing and breathtaking as it was coming in....literally breathtaking....I was holding my breath the whole way up....
Me at the Checkerboard Mesa lookout
O give me a home where the buffaloes roam
Where the deer and the antelope play
Where seldom is heard a discouraging word
And the skies are not cloudy all day
Then one of my favourite places, Coral Pink Sand Dunes State Park....pink sand, as far as the eye can see.

So 36 degrees....do you think these guys are rethinking their travel plans???
Water anyone???
Selfie!!!
Back on the road to Kanab, Utah
Figured it was time to find a place for a Beer. and something to eat. The Beer was pretty darn good, even though they said it goes better with Squirrel...opted for an absolutely delicious burger....we'll leave the Squirrel for another time.
And timing is everything....that's a long line of people streaming out of the Tour Bus that just parked beside the Restaurant....
Lots more cool scenery heading on 89A towards Page Arizona...
Made a quick stop at this Cliff Dwellers exhibit....
And some more random pics along the way....
And then finally, after a pretty long day in 36 degree weather, 42 degrees during a "hot flash", we were glad to arrive in Glen Canyon on Lake Powell in Page Arizona....
And this is our home for the next 3 nights at Wahwheap Campground....what an amazing view, Cheers!!!
Thought we were done for the evening, but Gracie is like a "divining rod"...she can find water anywhere...
Cheers and good night from Glen Canyon
