Thursday, June 9 - Zion and St. George Area

Another beautiful HOT HOT HOT day, you can feel the heat as soon as you open the trailer door. Seems to be a bit breezy in the evenings and in the early morning, nice to clear the air abit.

Gracie is enjoying the river behind the campsite, she gets to go for a cool dip a few times a day.

Today she goes to the Doggy Dude Ranch to spend the day in Doggie Daycare!!! She's very unimpressed and I feel like the new Mommy dropping my firstborn off at the babysitters for the first time....

St.George Utah here we come.

Nice drive, as usual lots and lots of new land to see and admire.

Made a stop at Costco for water and other liquid beverages......walked out with Water....We are in Utah, St. George to be exact, Morman Country....dry dry dry.

So we learned, no beer at any Grocery Store, only Near Beer (which is not getting "near" George in this lifetime)....so Roxanne (our friendly GPS lady), is showing us all the Liquor Stores in St. George. Did I mention the population is about 80,000 and growing.....here's what Roxanne found....

When we finally made it there....it was odd to say the least.  They had, let's say, 6 or so different types of beer and and coolers....Well they price them a little different down here....everything is priced per single bottle.....!!!

Off to see the epicentre of this community......from the Outside looking in....

Now, what are the chances of finding a Pub for some food and a cold one???

Looks like "not a chance"....Olive Garden here we come!!!

All "fat and happy", off to a desert community called "Kayenta"...This place is kinda in the middle of no-where, but worth the drive...real artsy community.

The homes here blend into the landscape, I think we could live here, no lawns to mow
