Another get up and go kinda day, no wasting a travel day for George relaxing.
The landscape in the first 2 hours changed so much, it was crazy. If you could describe it in terms of music, we went from Hard Rock to Jazz to Country to Alternative back to Hard Rock to Head Banger to Blues ....on and on...
In some of these small towns....this is common place, not sure if these are the Rich guys
or the Poor guys, it's hard to tell....
Getting closer to Moab Country, landscape is changing. Mountains, everyday Mountains with Snow. We both thought we were starting to have seen enough rocks (Gracie wants some grass also), but this is another changing landscape, which is kinda nice. Greener than the last, but with interesting rocks everywhere...
Found our campsite, went to check-in.....One Month early :) OMG, I do that at least once in every 2-3 week trip!!!!! Our other trick is to forget when we are supposed to leave, and they inform us.........Check-out was 11:00 yesterday !!!!
Went into Moab, searched around for a Liquor Store....Yes...back in Utah...
Actually found a Brew Pub with REAL BEER!!! Moab Brewing Company....had great Fish Tacos and Black Bean Soup (just might go back for more another day).
Found out something interesting about the Mormans here....there is such a thing as a "Jack Mormon".....he-or-she is a Morman, but a non-conforming Morman.....if you know what I mean...Sounds like the way to go!!!
TOP DEFINITION
A person who is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, but seldom or never practices their religion. Unlike ex-Mormons or anti-Mormons, Jack Mormons usually support the goals and beliefs of the church and maintain friendships with practicing Mormons, but for reasons of their own choose not to attend church services and activities. Jack Mormons may also indulge in activities discouraged by the church, such as drinking alcohol, smoking, and premarital sex.
Good night and Cheers from Utah!!!!
