Cool temperatures in the morning, but warmed up really quickly. Great spot, close to town, a great beach, and our favourite place to walk around and check out all the RV's.
They have several retired people who are full-timing in their RV's but still love to garden, so they have created little gardens etc all over the campsite. There are little fairyland areas for kids to play and a little BMX bike trail.
Downtown Couer d'Alene is so nice. There are walking/biking paths everywhere throughout the area connecting downtown with the lake and the parks. There is artwork all over downtown, always something really neat to look at. Both sides of the street downtown is lined with restaurants/pubs/bistros with outdoor seating, and most of them are more than welcoming with dogs.
The waterfront is also really nice. It really needs to be seen to be believed. A paradise for anyone enjoying walking/biking/jogging and just really enjoying the outdoors.
And just random...for the person who has almost everything...
George's favourite place today...they got all the ugly bugs off the front of his baby!!!
Finally got the kayak out on it's maiden voyage!!!(which isn't really ours, its a loaner from the kayak store, ours is waiting in Vernon for our return). Great kayak, handles awesome, and really light. After we went out together, we let Gracie come along for a bit, she loves it!!! yay!! she didn't really like the other kayak.
Dinner time, gotta go, Cheers!!!
